| Automation and a Framework The less said about automation the better. It is the thing which has become the catch word these days in all the organizations - Big or Small. And all of them seem to be paying a lot of the effort for having an automated suite; which will make things easier for them in the long run. Saving them the time and effort, along with resources in terms of man power. So the question is; if I automated something now, am I taking away the job of some future candidate? The answer would actually be no, it would be creating another job opportunity for a person who has a good logical and analytical mind bent. And also, the manual testing can never be done away with 100%. Testing seems to be maturing in India and more people are realizing that development is not the only thing [expect for the freshers and those who think that development is niche and reserved only to a few like them who are 'the' experts]. I have started a blog of what I do in automation. This is a mixed pie, but I am trying to improve on it so that only the automation options are there. |
